How long do new windows take to arrive?

Should I get triple glazing?
It helps most on exposed elevations, on a noisy road, and in a house that is already well insulated. On a sheltered wall in an otherwise draughty house the money usually does more elsewhere first.
Can I replace just the glass instead of the whole window?
If the frame and hardware are sound and only the sealed unit has misted, yes, and it costs a fraction of a new window. If the frame has dropped or rotted, a unit swap is money spent twice.
