Where the Listings Come From

Every contractor on this site is taken from the SEAI public register of registered contractors, filtered to those approved for external windows and external doors. It is a government register, it is published openly, and you can check any company against it yourself.

Being on the register is not a review and it is not a promise that a company is good at its job. What it does mean is that SEAI has nominated personnel on file who install or supervise the work, which is why a pure supplier cannot be listed on it. That is the qualification we list against, because it is checkable rather than an opinion.

What We Deliberately Do Not Do

We do not rank contractors by who paid. There is no featured placement, no sponsored listing and no way to buy a better position. Ordering within each county page is random, and it reshuffles every time the site is rebuilt, so no contractor holds the top slot and position tells you nothing. Ratings are shown where enough people have left one, but they do not decide the order either.

We do not take a booking fee or a lead fee from either side, and we do not sell enquiry details on. When you send an enquiry it goes to that contractor.

We also do not publish contractor email addresses or websites. Enquiries go through the form so the address is not harvested off the page.
