What This Site Collects

The main personal data this site collects is what you type into an enquiry form: your name, phone number, optional email address and your description of the job.

There is no account, no login and no newsletter. Separately, a visitor counter records anonymous statistics about page visits, described below.

What Happens to an Enquiry

An enquiry is emailed to the contractor whose page you sent it from, and copied to the site owner. That is the whole journey.

Enquiry details are never sold, shared with other contractors, or used to market anything back to you.

Contractor Information

Contractor listings are drawn from the SEAI public register, which SEAI publishes openly. We list company name, county, registered measures and a phone number.

Contractor email addresses are held but never published on the site. Any contractor can have their listing corrected or removed by contacting us.

Cookies and Analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no advertising, and does not track you across other websites. Nothing here is shared with an ad network.

It does use Statcounter to count visits, so we can see which pages are useful and which are not. Statcounter records the page visited, the approximate location, the browser and device type, the referring site, and a truncated or hashed form of the IP address, and it sets a cookie to tell a returning visitor from a new one. It is a visit counter rather than a profile: it is not used to identify you, it is not linked to anything you type into an enquiry form, and no data from it is sold.

You can opt out of Statcounter entirely, across every site that uses it, at statcounter.com/about/legal/. Browser Do Not Track and most tracker-blocking extensions also stop it.

Your Rights

You can ask what data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact us and it will be dealt with.
